Agro Amazônia Recognized by IEL-MT with the 2025 Innovative Internship Award

Agro Amazônia was honored at the regional stage of the 2025 IEL Talent Award, promoted by the Euvaldo Lodi Institute of Mato Grosso (IEL-MT), by winning first place in the Innovative Internship category with its Start Program. The ceremony took place last Wednesday (13), at the FIEMT System auditorium, and brought together companies, educational institutions, and young professionals who are transforming the job market through creative and efficient internship practices.

The event celebrated initiatives that combine creativity, innovation, and social impact, recognizing 18 projects that contribute to the development of professionals and the growth of organizations. The winners of the regional stage will move on to the national phase, which will be held in December and will showcase the country’s leading programs and talents.

“The Start Program was created to bring undergraduates closer to the corporate world, allowing them to experience the company’s processes, routines, and culture in practice. We have successful cases of young people who started in Start and were later hired. That is why this award is recognition of work that not only transforms the lives of interns but also strengthens the company and helps prepare professionals for leadership positions in the market,” said Thamiris Passarinho, People Management Analyst at Agro Amazônia.

According to IEL-MT, the Start Program stood out for integrating technical and behavioral training, promoting a culture of continuous learning, and creating real opportunities for growth. This approach is aligned with Agro Amazônia’s commitment to investing in people — one of the pillars that have sustained its 42-year history.

With this award, Agro Amazônia reaffirms its role as an organization that not only drives the development of agribusiness but also actively contributes to building a more skilled and inclusive job market.

About the Start Program

The program’s mission is to open doors for young people in training by offering hands-on experience aligned with academic knowledge. More than just an internship, Start is a structured professional development process that includes learning modules adapted to company and market demands, regular meetings for experience-sharing and guidance, mentorship, and individualized support to foster each participant’s growth. It also features lectures with partners and industry experts, as well as a continuous improvement program to ensure constant updates of methods and content.

The differential of the Start Program lies in its collaborative environment, where interns work side by side with professionals from different generations, developing not only technical skills but also essential behavioral competencies to face the challenges of the corporate world.
