Agro Amazônia’s Distribution Center in Cuiabá: Efficiency and Technology for Brazilian Agribusiness

Inaugurated in 2024, Agro Amazônia’s Distribution Center in Cuiabá has already become a milestone for agribusiness in Mato Grosso. More than just a logistics facility, the space symbolizes the combination of technology and the company’s commitment to being ever closer to farmers, especially during the most crucial moments of the agricultural calendar.

With a total area of 15,000 m², the Distribution Center was designed to meet the growing demands of the countryside with excellence. Of this, 9,000 m² are dedicated to agricultural inputs, while 6,000 m² are fully climate-controlled for seed storage, kept under strict conditions of 10°C and 65% relative humidity. This structure ensures that every seed reaches the farmer with its maximum productive potential preserved.

Beyond preservation, the facility offers capacity for 24,000 pallet positions and 24-hour monitoring, providing safety and reliability throughout the operation. The entire system is fully digitalized, ensuring greater accuracy in inventory management and optimized distribution flow.

The Distribution Center was designed to bring rhythm and reliability to agribusiness all year round. The structure supports the loading of up to 20 seed trucks per day, ensuring agility in the delivery of inputs to Agro Amazônia’s branches and farmers across Mato Grosso. This capacity highlights its strategic importance in the state’s logistics chain, allowing farmers to receive exactly what they need, precisely when they need it.

“The Distribution Center in Cuiabá was created to be more than just a warehouse: it represents our dedication to supporting farmers with speed and reliability, helping them face the challenges of each harvest with confidence,” says Carlo Gilbert, Logistics Manager at Agro Amazônia.

As part of a broader structure that also includes the Fertilizer Plant in Ibiá, the Experimental Station for research and development, and the Seed Processing Plant in Patos de Minas, the Distribution Center is a key piece in the company’s expansion movement. Agro Amazônia already has more than 70 branches across nine Brazilian states.

This national presence, supported by Sumitomo Corporation, allows Agro Amazônia to be increasingly close to its customers, expanding its operations with agility and reliability.

With 42 years of history, Agro Amazônia remains passionate about agribusiness and driven by the challenge of delivering innovation, quality, and proximity to the countryside. The Distribution Center in Cuiabá is the materialization of this purpose: to stand alongside farmers at every stage of their journey, helping them produce more, better, and sustainably.
