Agro Amazônia’s First Branch in Cuiabá Reopens After Major Renovation

Spacious, modern, and ready to serve farmers even better: this is how the new structure of Agro Amazônia’s Cuiabá branch can be defined, officially reopened on the evening of Tuesday, September 16. Founded in 1983 by Edson Keller, the branch is considered a milestone in the company’s history, as it marked the starting point of the journey that transformed Agro Amazônia into one of the largest agribusiness input distributors in Brazil.

With a 1,318.01-square-meter structure, the store underwent a complete transformation, adopting an architectural concept inspired by the “essence of the land.” The project reinforces Agro Amazônia’s deep connection with the countryside, reflecting the strength of farmers and ranchers in every detail of the space.

Every element was carefully designed to combine aesthetics, identity, and functionality, translating Agro Amazônia’s commitment to providing convenience, safety, and a unique shopping experience to farmers. In addition, the branch offers spacious and secure parking, ensuring peace of mind and practicality for customers during their visits.

The reopening brought together farmers, customers, employees, and partners, who celebrated both the importance of the branch in Agro Amazônia’s history and the pride of seeing the company’s very first store revitalized and better prepared for the future.

“We are very happy and proud to reopen such a special store, because this is where it all began. This used to be Agro Amazônia’s headquarters, and today it looks wonderful. I began my journey at the company in this very unit, 31 years ago, so it is truly gratifying to witness this moment,” said Agro Amazônia’s President/CEO, Roberto Motta.

According to Carlos Bezerra, the company’s Commercial Manager, “reopening the Cuiabá branch is an important step for the future, bringing modernization while maintaining credibility with farmers.”

A customer of Agro Amazônia for nearly 40 years, Mauro Nascimento also recalled his connection with the store: “I first came to know Agro Amazônia back when it was still on Avenida Coronel Escolástico, in 1986. It was a small store, and today I can see how much it has grown. Being here for this reopening fills me with pride — the store looks beautiful, and it is part of our history.”

The reopening of the Cuiabá branch marks yet another chapter in Agro Amazônia’s journey: projecting a future that is even stronger and more innovative.
