Ten Years of Dedication and Transformation: Agro Amazônia’s Fertilizer Plant in Ibiá Celebrates a Decade

2025 marks a significant milestone for Agro Amazônia: the tenth anniversary of its fertilizer plant in Ibiá, Minas Gerais — a strategic asset that has strengthened the company’s autonomy, quality, and closeness to producers.
The industrial plant was inaugurated in August 2015 by Nativa Agronegócios, with the purpose of producing high-quality solid fertilizers to serve the Cerrado Mineiro region. In 2022, with the acquisition of Nativa, the unit became part of Agro Amazônia, expanding the company’s capacity to offer proprietary solutions to farmers.
Since then, the Ibiá plant has become a cornerstone in strengthening Agro Amazônia’s presence in the Southeast, directly serving the region’s 13 branches and ensuring agility, safety, and innovation in the delivery of inputs.
The facility operates with two main lines of solid fertilizers: conventional ones, based on pure raw materials and similar to those widely available on the market, and special fertilizers, Agro Amazônia’s true differentiator. These special products are exclusive combinations of raw materials designed to generate customized solutions for each client.
Among our special controlled-release fertilizers, NP MASTER, N ULTRA, N COTE, and N HF stand out, translating technology and precision into enhanced crop performance. This versatility ensures that farmers receive a product tailored to their soil, crop, and yield expectations — a technological advantage that allows them to unlock their full productive potential.
All this technology will be showcased at Inova Campo, which will take place in February 2026 at Agro Amazônia’s Experimental Station in Patos de Minas (MG). It will be an opportunity for producers to experience firsthand the unique advantages of our fertilizer lines and the innovative solutions developed to further boost productivity in the field.
Over its ten years of operation, the Ibiá plant has consolidated itself as a robust and strategic industrial hub. Since 2022, under the Agro Amazônia umbrella, this structure has gained even more relevance, combining proprietary production with the broad portfolio of solutions the company already offers.
With a decade of experience and the strength of one of Brazil’s largest agribusiness input distributors, the plant is ready for new cycles of growth. Today, as it celebrates its 10th anniversary, the Ibiá fertilizer plant symbolizes a bridge between past and future: the solidity of a decade of production combined with Agro Amazônia’s commitment to innovation and to always being at the farmer’s side.
